Last year, Teamsters in Maine donated and helped collect more than 25,000 pounds of food and $850 in monetary contributions. This year the Teamster truck will be rolling along through the state starting on July 16, collecting donations from Teamster work sites. The truck will conclude its statewide tour at the popular Maine Potato Blossom Festival, an annual homage to the all-important state crop, featuring a number of fun and unique events, including mashed potato wrestling.
