When Estanislado Ochoa’s local sent him out last year to campaign for Barack Obama, he wanted to show his union pride in more ways than wearing a Teamster T-shirt.

Ochoa lives in South Texas and about a week before he was to travel to Denver, he had a tribute to both his state and his union emblazoned on his calf.

“I figured 20 years as a Teamster, and going out of state on their behalf, well, I had to represent Local 657,” Ochoa said.
