George Shaw, a member of Philadelphia’s Local 107, recently sent in this photo of his Teamster tattoo and told us a little about himself and his local.

“I’ve been a Teamster my whole adult life—about 15 years now,” he wrote.

“Local 107 has been the driving force behind improving our union and helping other unions to grow in the Philadelphia area and elsewhere. Our local has a rich tradition of overcoming setbacks to grow stronger.

“I got this tattoo because the Teamsters have always and will continue to be a huge part of my life,” Shaw wrote.

“I believe in our union and I come from a large family of Teamsters. Family parties often resembled union meetings.”
