Teamster Tattoo Double Shot, Part One
Today we salute proud Teamster Jerold “Tom” Conner for the best piece of mail we’ve gotten in weeks. He sent in photos of his two Teamster tattoos because he didn’t have a computer to e-mail them from. The envelope just contained two photos with some information about Conner on the back. Conner retired from Kroger on May 30 after a 33-year Teamster career. He was a member of Local 135 out of Indianapolis, which Conner calls the “Greatest local in the world! Bar none!” As you can see from the photos, one tattoo pays tribute to the local, and the other the 100-year anniversary of the Teamsters Union, which Conner attended in 2003 in Washington, D.C. If you’ve got a Teamster tattoo, or know someone who does, e-mail a photo of it, or do as Conner did and mail photos to Teamster Magazine, 25 Louisiana Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001, and we’ll run it on this blog.
